- How far in advance should I book?

- Is there an astronomer on the trip?
- Yes. A certified astronomer sails aboard MS Q and MS TIA and briefs guests before eclipse day; during totality itself the astronomer is stationed at the Eclipse Viewing Festival, guiding safe viewing for the whole group.
- Where will we actually watch totality?
- From a dedicated viewing site near Luxor rather than a moving vessel, with the optional Eclipse Viewing Festival on a private farm offering an open horizon, shade, refreshments and telescope access.
Practicalities
- Do I need eclipse glasses, and are they provided?
