Trip overview
Experience Egypt from an entirely different perspective on a journey created around the Total Solar Eclipse of 2 August 2027. Begin among the Pyramids and treasures of Cairo before boarding an overnight train west to Egypt's Mediterranean coast. Relax beside the turquoise waters of Marsa Matrouh, then travel deep into the Western Desert to legendary Siwa Oasis to watch day briefly turn to darkness. After the eclipse, continue to Alexandria before returning by train to Cairo.
